What we’ve put in place

To KEEP OUR COUPLES SAFE at our wedding venue.

Safety is paramount for all, including couples, guests, suppliers and staff. As a responsible venue, we are prepared to make every possible effort to safely host as many weddings as we can for our valued couples in a safe and secure environment whilst still allowing our venue to shine and give so much joy to everyone who enters down our spiral staircase.

How we are performing Viewings

Viewings are taking place in a staggered manner where staff and couples are expected to wear protective masks. Further information and guidance will be provided to you when your visit date has been confirmed. The Fort is cleaned between each viewing, including any door handles or switches that may have been touched, though we have designed the viewings to minimise any contacts as much as possible possible.

What does the ceremony look like?

The spacious Grand Napoleonic Hall and Summerhouse have been re-arranged to follow the current Government guidance of 15 to a wedding party. Chairs and walkthrough areas have been cleared to allow the correct distancing so you can enjoy your special moment in a safe and but still relaxed environment.

how does the wedding breakfast work?

All catering suppliers should now be aware of the rules for your catering options. As part of the Government guidelines all meals must be provided as a sit down meal. For further guidance or clarity please contact us.

Washing hands and new signage

We have made suitable updates to key areas around the fort to promote washing hands and keeping the appropriate social distance guidance at all times.

Involving your absent friends and family

For those guests that are unable to attend, we can help guide you on arranging an optional zoom call on our giant 70” TV mobile stand. Allowing you to see and enjoy up to 49 of your family and friends.

Fort maintenance and increased cleaning

We have increased our level of cleaning tailored to Government guidelines advice.
