Forgotten Corner Film Festival

There’s always something fun happening within our local community. From food & drink, music, literature, walking, arts and craft and seasonal fun!

We’re excited to share with you full details of the Forgotten Corner Film Festival happening this February.
The event is being organised by local beach cleaning and marine conservation group Rame Peninsula Beach Care (RPBC).

“Feeling depressed about the state of the world? Come along for two days of inspiring selection of local and international films exploring environmental issues, adventure and activism – as well as talks, live music and sound bath meditation. This event will send us back out into the world feeling refreshed, positive – and hopefully motivated to get involved with (or start up our own!) initiatives to protect the environment and fight climate change. We’ll also be raising funds for Rame Peninsula Beach Care, the Old Ship regenerative social housing project in Cawsand, and the Joy Rescue project, an NGO supporting low income families in Kenya.” – Forgotten Corner Film Festival.

Get involved

Not everybody is able to help us clean the beach, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help in other ways.

Are you a scientist or a researcher who would like to collaborate with us on a marine litter-related project in our area?

Do you have experience or skills (and time) that you can offer in any relevant area, such as bid writing for funding, accounting, event organisation, campaigning, social media, PR, art and design, etc?

Would you like to help out at coffee mornings or other events. Would you like us to give a talk or run an event in your community?

If you have any ideas or suggestions for us, or if you can help out at all, please do get in touch by sending us an email on: info@ramepbc.org
