A hidden Eden sitting on the bow of a ship…
..the gardens at Polhawn Fort stand proud looking over the Whitsand Bay coastline. They provide a perfect sense of balance to the unforgiving fort structure, meandering around its daily moving shadow.
Three main pockets to the gardens each providing a different outlook and all dazzle and frame the coastline in a different way. If it isn’t the constant crescendo of rolling seas or wildlife circling above, then it’s the sound of a place that has managed to capture so many happy memories. It evolves each and every season on embarking on its beautiful journey back and forth within the sea breeze.
Our sweeping lawns and landscaped gardens have with out a doubt looked their best (ever!) this season.
